The concept of companies of prophetic people was initiated in response to the call of the Spirit for the increase of the prophetic gift in the nation and nations. The first company began in October 2003. The convictions behind this concept are:

• Prophetic ministry is absolutely necessary in the church. It is time for it to come in from the margins
• I believe we are entering a period of growth of this ministry in the UK and Europe
• There is a need to train those who are inexperienced but with anointing
• There is the need for forums for those who are further 'advanced' but they are in need of 'iron sharpening iron'
• There is the need for those gifted at the level of being watchmen / watchwomen to be released.

When I moved to Mallorca my good friend and very able teacher / prophet Chris Meredith. began to develop various sessions in in Colchester, Essex (2008) and also in Amblecote (the Black Country).

He had an emphasis on:

• Re-imagining the Prophetic
• Good and bad beliefs about prophecy
• Protocols and Pitfalls in ministering prophetically
• Dreams, the Visual, and issues of interpretation
• Receiving / Weighing the prophetic.

At its core the prophetic is about re-imagining tomorrow, about catalysing spiritual and material change, about releasing destiny to the lives, spheres and landscapes of which we find ourselves a part.

I have also am also involved in taking teams to Brazil mainly in the context of 5-day long prophetc schools there. Where and how the company of prophetic people vision develops will I am sure be very interesting to track. There will always be a need to see companies rise up who live and speak prophetically.
